Will I receive a Permanent Illinois Driver’s License or a temporary visitors Driver’s License?
If you qualify for a Social Security number and plan to stay in the country for a longer period of time, you may receive a permanent Illinois Driver’s license.
However, if you are do not qualified for a Social Security number and plan to stay in the country for a year or more, you might receive a Temporary Visitor Driver’s license.
As it was mentioned in our previous Blog, if you wait for too long before deciding to apply for the Driver’s license, you may not qualify for it at all.
