Welcome: Study Abroad in the United States.

Being an international student can
be an overwhelming experience. We have been in that situation! Everything is
confusing and when you first arrive you are presented with lots of information,
guidelines, and a huge “To Do” list to follow and nobody to give you a personal
assistance. We often feel lost. We are not familiar with the place, culture,
with the people, and the language. Our cell phone does not work. We usually don’t
have a bank account set up yet, nor a social security number or a drive
license. Still, we have to find a way to pay for the first month’s rent and
security deposit and how to get around town. We have to call the gas, water, energy and garbage company to schedule a
date to start/or stop your services. The experience can be very tiring and
